Ashley & Matt were married at Hidden Springs in Aubrey, TX. Their wedding colors were gold, green, purple, and cream, which added a nice “pop” to the rustic decor of the wedding venue. They filled the space with a lot of beautiful details, such as the antique chairs, custom gold frames, and mirrors that were set up at both entrances to Hidden Springs.
The grand staircase was wrapped in florals with large lanterns on the steps, which provided a nice candlelit glow during the reception. The reception tables had 3 styles of centerpieces; some were large cascading floral arrangements in gold mercury glass vases; others featured a large lantern with a round floral centerpiece wrapped around it, and the third style was a shorter elegant vase with florals. Each of the tables featured a gold laser cut sign with “Matthew & Ashley” in scroll font.
The stage featured an iron gate that was wrapped with floral as well. All of the flowers created a lush and beautiful backdrop for the wedding.
One of my favorite details was the sweetheart table set up for Ashley and Matt. It was a small table with mis-matched vintage chairs, gold linens with a lace overlay, and a gold wood “Mr & Mrs” sign. There were some greenery draped across the table, as well as a small planter stand featuring another floral element.
Since Matt and Ashley met at A&M, the groom’s cake featured the A&M logo on top, as well as many table signs with Aggie slogans on them. The bride’s cake table was filled with a gold tea set, vintage books, the “H” logo representing their last name, and of course, etched champagne glasses and inscribed cake cutting set.
At the entrance, the sign-in table features gold birdcages with floral decor, gold mercury candle sticks, antique gold hand mirrors, and one of Ashley’s bridal portraits on display.
Every detail came together so elegantly and was such a beautiful evening for the happy couple.
