Richardson bridal portraits | Falon

Fall is a beautiful time for a wedding and I was thrilled to spend an evening with Falon to shoot her Richardson bridal portraits before she and Dave got married at 1899 Farmhouse in Princeton. We lucked out with some amazing light and were able to rock her photos!

Falon is one of those people who is very chill, laid-back, and likes to have fun. She has a boisterous personality and could never be mistaken for “shy.” Bonus points have to be awarded, of course, for her magnetism in front of the camera. She let her personality shine through during her bridal session and we were able to get some great shots for her because of it!

Falon picked a great dress for her wedding and she is the FIRST bride who had it altered so it wasn’t too form-fitting simply because she wanted to be able to dance and move all night long! I love that attitude! The back was stunning with lace details, and choosing a sleeveless halter-style dress definitely is a great choice for someone who loves to dance!

Falon brought along her mom and future mother-in-law. One thing I love about bridal sessions is just getting to see the excitement from friends and the mom(s). It’s definitely contagious! Sherry was incredibly sweet, and seeing how much she loves Falon is always inspiring.

There are several great parks in Richardson for portrait sessions, but I found an obscure one a few years back that has become my favorite “go to” spot because of its versatility. Within a short distance, there are lush trees, a creek with rocky cliffs, walking trails, and old stone retaining walls. And best of all, the sunlight is simply gorgeous when it streams through the trees!
