Fall 2017 Mini Sessions

UPDATE: Our fall mini’s were super popular this year so I’ve opened up a second date for a location in Colleyville!

We’re officially past the halfway mark for 2017, which seems completely unreal to me! This year has flown by, as usual, and now we’re coming up on my absolutely favorite time of year: FALL!  Which means it’s time to kick off the season with our 2017 mini sessions! Each year, our minis seem to get more and more popular, and fill up earlier and earlier. This year, I’ve been overwhelmed by how many of our amazing clients have expressed interest and I’m super stoked to see them again!

If you’ve been following us for awhile, you know we only offer family sessions as part of our once yearly mini sessions. It’s a great opportunity to get some gorgeous artwork to hang in your home, send out on holiday cards, and give to grandparents, aunts, and uncles in the form of prints! Be sure to sign up quickly because I know these sessions are going to fill up FAST this year!

Here’s what is included in the 2017 mini sessions:

  • A 20 minute session for up to 6 people (additional people are $25 per person)
  • Session can be used for family, kids, pets, engagement, maternity, and high school seniors (cannot be used for bridals or newborn photos)
  • 5 digital high resolution images of your choice (total number of images will vary and is not guaranteed, but typically is between 20-30 images)
  • 20% off cards, prints, and gallery wraps (cannot be used for purchasing digital files)
  • An online, password protected gallery to view your images and share with friends and family

And, as an additional bonus, this year we are offering a referral bonus to people who book a mini session! For each person you refer who books a mini session, you will receive a $25 credit toward online purchases from your gallery.

So how do you partake of all this awesomeness?

  1. First, fill out the form below to choose your session date and time.
  2. Second, once you submit the form, you’ll be given a link to the website where you can purchase the session. (This will hold your date/time choice for 72 hours so you can complete step #3)
  3. Last, once these two steps are completed, I will email you the contract for your session. Once that is signed and returned, your session booking is complete!

Windsor at Hebron Park Wedding | Rebecca & Gabe

This Windsor at Hebron Park wedding took place this past fall in Carrollton. Rebecca and Gabe worked on planning their wedding for almost two years! When I first met them, they had been engaged for a few months already, and there were two things that struck me the most. First, the genuine level of excitement they had about getting married was off the charts. It was not only wonderful to see that, but it was contagious! And second, we hit it off so well that I think the initial consult was over two hours long because we kept venturing off course to personal subjects, with lots of laughter interspersed.

That laughter carried through to Rebecca and Gabe’s engagement session and to their wedding day. I can’t remember the last time I laughed that much with the bridal party throughout the day.

To keep her father close on their wedding day, Rebecca had a charm photo of herself and her dad wrapped around her bouquet. They added another one of her parents for her mom to wear on her wrist corsage.

Rebecca wore a Maggie Sottero gown and I can’t imagine a dress looking more perfect on her! She paired it with a cathedral length veil. Gabe, as they say, “cleaned up good” too and looked very sharp in his navy suit!

Before the ceremony, Rebecca and Gabe had a “first look”.  As I waited with Gabe for Rebecca to come outside on the balcony, I noticed the huge grin on Gabe’s face. He smile was bigger than I’d seen before!

For cocktail hour, Rebecca and Gabe brought in a mariachi band, who then performed their final song as Rebecca and Gabe took the dance for their first dance together as husband and wife.

Richardson Engagement Session | Brooke & Chase

Richardson engagement session

I met up with Brooke and Chase last year for their Richardson engagement session. Chase was still attending school out of town, but we managed to work around his football schedule to get their engagement photos taken. Brooke was super excited about their session and wanted to make sure it showed their personalities.

We met up at one of my favorite parks in Richardson and immediately, the dynamics of their relationship jumped out. Chase excels at teasing Brooke and getting some great natural laughs, and Brooke just lights up when she’s with Chase. It was a super fun session with the two of them! We also lucked out with the weather! I can’t count how many sessions I’ve had to reschedule over the last two years due to weather issues. For Brooke and Chase’s session, we had perfect weather and a full sunny day!

Brooke and Chase were married a few months ago at The Springs Rockwall location (Poetry Springs in Terrell, to be precise). Their wedding was gorgeous and you can check out their sneak peek HERE.

I love the sunlight streaming through the shrubs and trees in this one. There are some really beautiful parks around Dallas! In fact, I’ve been shooting at this particular park for almost 3 years and am always shocked that no other photographers have discovered this gem of a location!
