This Windsor at Hebron Park wedding took place this past fall in Carrollton. Rebecca and Gabe worked on planning their wedding for almost two years! When I first met them, they had been engaged for a few months already, and there were two things that struck me the most. First, the genuine level of excitement they had about getting married was off the charts. It was not only wonderful to see that, but it was contagious! And second, we hit it off so well that I think the initial consult was over two hours long because we kept venturing off course to personal subjects, with lots of laughter interspersed.
That laughter carried through to Rebecca and Gabe’s engagement session and to their wedding day. I can’t remember the last time I laughed that much with the bridal party throughout the day.

To keep her father close on their wedding day, Rebecca had a charm photo of herself and her dad wrapped around her bouquet. They added another one of her parents for her mom to wear on her wrist corsage.
Rebecca wore a Maggie Sottero gown and I can’t imagine a dress looking more perfect on her! She paired it with a cathedral length veil. Gabe, as they say, “cleaned up good” too and looked very sharp in his navy suit!
Before the ceremony, Rebecca and Gabe had a “first look”. As I waited with Gabe for Rebecca to come outside on the balcony, I noticed the huge grin on Gabe’s face. He smile was bigger than I’d seen before!
During the ceremony, Rebecca’s niece sang to them and it was a very special moment that left a lot of people tearing up.
For cocktail hour, Rebecca and Gabe brought in a mariachi band, who then performed their final song as Rebecca and Gabe took the dance for their first dance together as husband and wife.
